FujiXplorer recommends: Boating on Coniston Lake
The lake district is full of incredible walks and hikes to explore the area, but a perfect way to relax and take in the surrounding beauty of the lake district is by boat.
Many of the lakes offer boat hire, but I recommend taking a motor boat out on Coniston Lake. Great for couples or even families wanting a fun afternoon.
With no need to paddle or sail and just the need to steer and control power - it is an easy, fun and relaxing way to spend an afternoon. Why not take a nice cool bag with lunch in it with you if you choose a to go out for a couple of hours? Dogs are allowed on the boats and lifejackets are provided.
Prices and details including directions on getting there are available by clicking on the link below. Parking is available at the lake and there is also a lovely cafe on site too.
